The Lifetouch company got itself in a little spot of trouble when in McKinney, Texas, when they delivered the local high school’s yearbooks. Apparently, the school had been a little too demanding when they placed the order, and one employee decided to do something about that. The books came back from the printer with heads switched to he wrong bodies, one girl missing an arm, and another found her likeness placed on a naked body.

Lifetouch said in its statement that “this was an unfortunate lapse in judgment, and they didn’t believe it was malicious.” Who are they kidding? Of course it was malicious.

Lifetouch apologized, and they are printing new ones. Why; I am not entirely sure. Seems to me it’s a great idea; most high school year books could benefit from some photo shopping. Not that my high school had year books, but if they had, I think it would have been fun to have my picture show, for instance, the head of a giraffe instead of my own mug. Come on, people: live a little.

Then there’s this:

HARTMAN, Ark. - An Arkansas preteen faces a drunken driving charge after he and a friend drank his parents’ beer, “got liquored up” and crashed his stepfather’s pickup truck, the Johnson County sheriff said. Sheriff Jimmy Dorney said the 12-year-old boy and his 10-year-old friend drove off in the truck May 4 to find a girl they met at a rodeo. The boys made it about 10 miles before the 12-year-old lost control of the truck.

Dorney said the truck hit and jumped over a guardrail, sending it careening 50 feet down a steep hill into a forest.

Clark James, 46, who lives down the road from the crash site, said he answered the boys’ banging at his front door with shotgun in hand about 2:30 a.m. (source: Yahoo/ AP)

You seriously can’t make this stuff up.

By the way, does anyone know why Bill’s face is so red??
