My thoughts after last night:
I don’t ever want to hear the word “momentum” again.
I’m excited about Hillary, I’m excited about Barack, but it can’t hold a candle to the excitement I would feel if they would band together. I can see it now: both of them on stage in front of a cheering audience, balloons and confetti everywhere, not to mention the cemented smile on Cindy McCain’s face as hubby gives his concession speech. Will her face finally crack?
It will go something like this:
“My Friends, we fought a hard race. Blah blah blah, my friends. Integrity and honesty, blah blah blah. More Republican lies and empty promises, my friends. The terrorists will win, and it will all be the Democrats’ fault, my friends.”
Then he will announce his candidacy for 2012, and even his most ardent supporters will want to kick his ass.
Who will they send into the ring next, I wonder? Both Reagan and Arnold successfully transitioned from Hollywood to Washingwood. It took the extremely dour and depressing demeanor of Fred Thompson to end that winning streak, but this may only be temporary. There are other actors and actresses to be harvested for obscure political purposes, I’m sure.
Just promise me one thing: let it not be Chuck Norris.

You don’t want to hear the word momentum but, how about responsibility??
The presidency doesn’t have an apprenticeship or on the job training program. Where two freshman senators who have no qualifications or experience for the job other than hoodwinking mental midgets such as yourself.
BTW, McCain isn’t one of ours, he’s one of yours.
Here’s hoping you grow up some day.

To the above commenter:
I am concerned about your comment, as it reveals much pent up aggression. Are you currently under the care of a mental health professional? Healthy differences of opinion aside, your post to a family oriented website written by a mother seems to indicate some unresolved feelings about your own mother.
If you prefer a therapist who is a Republican, I would be glad to refer you to one. Good luck, and watch the blood pressure.
